刘四新，男，汉族，1966年出生，山西太谷人，长春地质学院毕业，工学博士；吉林大学教授，博士生导师。单位：吉林大学地球探测科学与技术学院。
,人物经历1985.9－1989.7于长春地质学院地球物理系学习，取得矿场地球物理专业学士学位。
1989.9－1992.7于长春地质学院地球物理系学习，取得应用地球物理专业硕士学位。
1998.10-2002.3于日本国东北大学工学研究科,获得工学博士学位。
1992年-1996年,长春地质学院，助教和讲师。
1996年10月,长春科技大学，破格晋升为副教授。
2002年5月，晋升为吉林大学教授。
2005年9月，聘为吉林大学博士生导师。
