发表的著作自1987年以来一直从事天然*物化学研究和中*新*研发的工作。在Chem.Pharm.Bull、Phytochemmistry、Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communication等SCI杂志和国内核心期刊上发表论文100余篇。“抗肿瘤新*紫杉醇及其注射液的研究和开发”在 1995年获得5类西*新*证书并转让给协和*厂。该项研究1996年获卫生部科技进步一等奖，1997年获国家科技进步奖三等奖。在清华大学生物系*物*理研究室工作期间，主要从事新*的研究和开发，与*理学教授合作申请发明专利多项，开发5类中*新*3个，现已进入临床研究阶段。自2010年6月起，筹建清华大学生物医学测试中心*物发现平台，现任平台主管。
科研领域中*及天然*物的化学研究。从天然资源或传统中*单方及复方中，提取分离及纯化单体化合物，确定其化学结构，并通过*理筛选确定活性成分。对常用中*的活性部位进行成分分析或对活性成分进行结构鉴定。通过化学及*理活性的研究，阐明*物作用的物质基础，并建立*材的合理质量控制方法，对活性好的化合物通过化学结构修饰寻找高效低*的先导化合物。进行新*的研究与开发，在明确有效成分或有效部位的前提下，进行新*制备工艺及质量标准的研究。
